YPS Exchange Privacy Policy

Welcome to YPS Exchange (“we,” “our,” or “us”). We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your data when you use our mobile application and related services (the “App”).

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, automatically when you use the App, and from third-party sources (e.g., Firebase authentication).

a) Personal Data You Provide

• Account Credentials: Email address and password when you register or log in via Firebase Auth.
• Transaction Details: Wallet addresses, P2P trade instructions, deposit/withdrawal requests.
• Communications: Any messages or feedback you send to us, including customer support requests.

b) Data Collected Automatically

• Device & Log Information: IP address, device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, mobile network information, and crash reports.
• Usage Data: Trades executed, features accessed, pages viewed, and interaction with the App (e.g., button taps).
• Firebase Cloud Data: We use Firebase Firestore and Authentication, which may collect installation UUIDs and authentication tokens. Firebase’s privacy policy is available here.
• TradingView Chart Integration: The App loads TradingView’s charting library. TradingView may set cookies or collect usage statistics subject to their privacy policy.

c) Data from Binance Public API

The App displays real-time market data fetched from the Binance public API. No personal information is sent to Binance; we only request price tickers and kline data. Your identity is never transmitted to external market providers.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data for the following purposes:

• Account Management: To create, maintain, and authenticate your YPS Exchange account.
• Service Delivery: Process spot orders, futures positions, P2P advertisements, and wallet operations.
• Personalization: Show your portfolio balance, airdrop banners, and personalized admin features.
• Safety & Security: Detect fraud, unauthorized access, and enforce our Terms of Service.
• Communication: Send important updates, security alerts, and respond to your inquiries.
• Legal Obligations: Comply with applicable laws, regulations, or governmental requests.

3. Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only in these limited scenarios:

• Firebase (Google Cloud): Your email, user ID, and encrypted password are stored in Firebase Auth; wallet balances and P2P ads are stored in Firestore. This data remains within Google Cloud infrastructure.
• Public P2P Ads: If you create a P2P ad, your email prefix (e.g., “trader****@domain.com”) and trade stats are shown to other users to facilitate peer-to-peer transactions.
• Legal & Compliance: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of YPS Exchange, our users, or others.
• Aggregate/De-identified Data: We may share non-personal aggregated statistics (e.g., total users, daily volume) publicly or for business purposes.

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including:

• Encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) for all network communication.
• Firebase Authentication with secure credential storage.
• Cloud Firestore security rules that restrict read/write access to authorized users only.

However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work continuously to protect your data.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your personal information as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. If you wish to delete your account and associated data:

• You can request account deletion by contacting us at ypscoin@gmail.com.
• Upon request, we will delete your user document from Firestore, P2P ads, and associated records within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
• Residual anonymized data may persist in backups temporarily.

6. Your Rights & Choices

• Access & Update: You can view and modify your wallet details inside the App. Contact us to receive a copy of your personal data.
• Opt-Out of Communications: Promotional banners (airdrops) can be dismissed. For essential service emails, you must maintain a valid email for account recovery.
• Device Permissions: The App does not request camera, microphone, or location permissions. Internet access is required for market data.

7. Children’s Privacy

YPS Exchange is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a minor has provided us with personal data, we will delete it immediately. Please contact us if you believe we have inadvertently collected such data.

8. International Data Transfers

Your information may be stored and processed on Google Cloud servers located globally (including the United States, Europe, or Asia). By using the App, you consent to the transfer of your data to servers outside your country of residence, where data protection laws may differ.

9. Third-Party Services

Our App integrates the following third-party services. Their privacy practices are independent of ours:

• Firebase (Google LLC): Authentication and database services. Firebase Privacy Info
• TradingView: Financial charting widget. TradingView Privacy Policy
• Binance API (public): Market data. No user-identifiable information is transmitted.
• Font Awesome / Google Fonts: Icon and font assets. May collect anonymized usage statistics.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new Privacy Policy in the App and updating the “Last Updated” date. Your continued use after changes indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
